Tristan Barr was the producer behind Australia’s first full-length feature film in one single take, across the span of 9 different locations and a running time of 82 minutes www.watchthesunsetfilm.com, which was named by Cinema Australia as one of the top five films of 2017 and is in contention for Best Indie Feature in this years AACTA awards. It has been selected in official competition at the Perth Revelation International Film Festival, Brisbane International Festival, Byron Bay Film Festival, Sydney Underground Film Festival before traveling to the renowned Montreal World Film Festival. The film has already received numerous accolades including “Best Film” and “Best Actor” awards.

Tristan is the cofounder of Continuance Pictures, which is a innovative film company funding short content that has feature or series potential. With strong ties to the Asian market and powerhouse distributors like CJ Entertainment, Continuance has several features in development and pre-production including Tristan’s own feature project Isolation to be shot 2020.
A passionate visual storyteller, his work has received consistent praise, including a recent accolade for "Best Director" at the Canada International Film Festival for his feature project titled "This Little Piggy" and “Best Comedy” at the Sanctuary Cove Film Festival for his short film “Gabby’s First Time” for which he wrote, directed, and produced.
An alumni of the prestigious Victorian College of The Arts, Tristan has also appeared in tv and film including ABC’s “It’s A Date” which received the AACTA award for “Best Comedy”, Channel Nine’s “Gallipoli”, and the critically acclaimed drama “Monster Pies”.
